The two most important questions...
"Don't ask what the world needs, ask what makes you come alive and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive."
- Howard Thurman
I believe that one person's words can inspire a shift within us that ultimately transforms the world. My goal is to infuse inspiration, joy and authenticity into every talk, workshop, and one-on-one interaction. I believe that love and belonging are THE most basic human needs and that when we answer the question, "Who Am I?" with words such as kind, loving, confident, driven, smart, funny etc. then that is how we show up.
We give of who we are, by being who we say we are.

TedX Charlotte
"If you're going to jump, you might as well leap."
Jen brought down the house with her TedX speech. As soon as she said her last line, they were on their feet, inspired, moved, and ready to take action. Her unique ability to captivate and excite an audience made her speech resonate with every person in the room. It's easy to feel like you know Jen personally just by hearing her speak, because she brings so much of herself to every crowd.
Leadership Compass
UNCC - "Women who create" class
The Leadership Compass is one of the most simple and most profound tools I've ever encountered for understanding leadership, work and personal styles. Jen's facilitation of the workshop is natural and easy, quickly establishing a fun and safe environment to in which to explore. Her vibrant energy struck just the right balance between keeping everyone engaged and offering a space for insight and reflection.
Founder & ED
Playing for Others
As the founder and Executive Director of Playing for Others, Jen has established a game-changing teen program that is altering our youth's understanding of what it means to give back to the community. Teens learn to fully accept their own unique identity and then find ways to serve others with the gifts and talents they have to offer. Jen's passion and belief in possibility is apparent in every aspect of PFO, from serving children with disabilities... to honoring others through the arts... to crazy camp games and dance parties!
